Attorney Randall Trautwein of the Huntington, West Virginia office obtained a defense verdict for an insured of a regional property and casualty insurance company. The Complaint was filed on behalf of two plaintiffs, with each plaintiff asserting claims for past and future medical expenses, chronic pain, severe physical pain and mental anguish, and loss of capacity to enjoy life, all allegedly resulting from a motor vehicle accident. Before trial, attorney Trautwein secured the dismissal with prejudice of all claims of one plaintiff. The case proceeded to trial upon the claims of the remaining plaintiff. The jury returned a defense verdict with regard to the latter plaintiff’s claims. No payment was made to either plaintiff.
