Burns White Announces 2026 Leadership Re-Elections and Attorney Promotions

Burns White LLC announced that CEO Stuart T. O’Neal and COO of the Eastern Region, Andrew J. Fuga, have been reelected to three-year terms, effective January 1, 2026.

In addition, four attorneys were promoted to Equity Membership status and one attorney to Member, effective Jan. 1, 2026. These talented attorneys, located in Huntington, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Tampa have diverse legal practices that support the needs of our clients and the growth of the organization.  They will bring an innovative approach to expanding the firm’s capabilities in supporting our clients.

Equity Membership Status

Huntington

Matthew J. Perry is a Member in the firm’s Huntington, West Virginia office, where he focuses his practice on insurance and bad faith defense matters.  Mr. Perry also represents clients in commercial, construction and employment litigation matters.

Pittsburgh

Daniel J. Margonari is a member in the firm’s Healthcare Group, and serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s Medical Professional Liability group. He focuses a majority of his practice representing hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare professionals and entities with medical malpractice claims.

Thomas M. Pohl is a Member at Burns White. His practice focuses on complex commercial and civil litigation, employment litigation, banking and financial services matters, and business disputes. He serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s Employment Practices Liability practice group and Co-Chair of the Banking and Financial Services practice group.

Tampa

Mark B. Hartig is a Member of the firm’s Tampa, Florida office. Mr. Hartig focuses his practice on the defense of hospitals, nursing homes, physicians, and other long-term care facilities, as well as professional liability matters including the defense of child welfare agencies and adoption service providers, among other industries.
