Burns White has appointed Philadelphia Member Angela A. Cronk as the Co-Chair of the Employment Practices Liability Group, serving alongside Chief Executive Officer and Member, Mary-Jo Rebelo. The Burns White Employment Practices Liability team helps clients build a framework that supports the employer-employee relationship, and provides ongoing counseling to prevent and solve employment-related disputes.
“Angela is an established and respected employment attorney. Her experience and leadership will further advance the firm’s efforts in this area of law,” said Mary-Jo Rebelo.
Ms. Cronk has a litigation and counseling practice that ranges from defending against discrimination claims, class and collective actions to traditional labor matters. Her clients span a variety of industries and include closely-held corporations and public entities. She practices before state and federal courts, as well as before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the National Labor Relations Board.
Ms. Cronk also serves as Co-Chair of the Firm’s Women’s Initiative, where she helps to promote an inclusive culture by emphasizing professional development, individualism, and open communication for women at the firm.
Ms. Cronk volunteers as a Guardian Ad Litem for the Montgomery Child Advocacy Project (MCAP) where she represents children who are the victims of abuse and neglect.
