Serving the commercial transportation industry with knowledge and experience
The Transportation and Logistics Law Practice Group is available to offer counsel to national trucking, transportation, logistics and autonomous vehicle companies, drawing upon significant industry knowledge and experience — both inside and outside the courtroom — to help clients navigate the industry’s complexities and manage risk.
We collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs and priorities. Proactive and nimble, we provide case assessments at the earliest possible stage of the investigation to identify opportunities for a fair and early resolution, and when necessary, have the depth and experience to try complex and difficult cases to verdict.
“The knowledge and experience of the entire team, their teamwork, and the results they bring. Other firms are more individuals; at Burns White the entire team is aligned.”
— Senior Manager, Transportation and Logistics company
Emergency response investigations
With extensive experience handling emergency response investigations, our emergency response team arrives at the scene in the critical hours immediately following an accident to gather and preserve evidence, guide investigators, and interact with authorities. Complementing our own experience, we use a diverse network of engineers, medical experts, and accident reconstruction experts to protect our clients’ interests, from the moments following an accident through resolution.
Contract and policy advisement
In addition to handling serious injury and death cases, our attorneys serve as outside general counsel for privately held companies, advising clients on business operations, leasing agreements, insurance coverage, regulatory compliance, contractual negotiations, employment matters, and workers’ compensation litigation. When necessary, members of our team work closely with attorneys in other substantive practice areas, using a multidisciplinary approach to counsel clients.
